*These will shed some wool fibers!
 
*There will be small pieces of straw and hay woven into the wool, this is part of he Farm Unique aspect of these fleeces. I assure you the wool as been fully washed mutiple times.
 
*If cleaning is needed, soak in a tub with hot water and soap, rince and hang dry. Be careful not to move the rug too much in the tub as this aggitation causes felting.
 
* BE AWARE, your animals WILL love them. Maybe love them TOO MUCH and ruin them. Please keep in mind these took a ton of work to make and keep them away from overly excited pets.
 
This beautiful fleece comes from our sweet Icelandic sheep Maple.
These made a great accent piece on your fireplace, couches, or an amazing newborn photo prop!
 
Our lovely flock gets sheared twice a year for their health and safety, and the by product is their beautiful wool. Sometimes it comes off in a stunning full fleece. If we are lucky enough to have this, it can be wet fetled on the back to create a one of a kind piece.
 
With days of work, I skirt the wool to remove the dirty outside edges, then I pick it as clean as I can get it. After that comes the process of rolling, rubbing, rolling, and rubbing repeatedly with LOTS of soap and hot water until the back is felted and has created a secure matted hold. Each one is beautifully unique and completely handmade on the farm.
