Easy to grow speckled leaf lettuce makes a wonderful additon to your salads! Harvest young individual leaves as they grow or allow to grow into romaine type head of lettuce and harvest from thr base.

Grows Best: Partial shade (Grows best in cool weather)
Days to Germination: 7 -14 days
Planting Depth: Surface Sow, needs light to germinate.
Seed Spacing: 4" - 16"
Sow:  Sow seeds directly in soil after last frost, as soon as the soil can be worked OR start indoors in late winter and transplant after last frost. Soil temps 40 degrees and above will be ok.

ALL our seeds are grown, loved and harvested directly on our farm! 
We do our very very best to remove all extra matter( leaves, petals, etc..) but being they are untreated, unwashed, and harvested by hands there may be a couple tag along pieces. But its OK, just extra compost for your garden bed!!
